we haven't used the computer for a long time and just start using it 2 days ago.
on the second day, the computer start showing the "lsass.exe system error". can't get into the safe mode too. the antivirus in that computer has been outdated for 3 years.
any suggestion how to fix this problem?
thanks

Plug in your USB DVDRW drive and boot from that any of the free Antivirus CDs from http://antivirus.about.com/od/freeantivirussoftware/tp/avrescuecd.htm
Plug in your USB DVDRW drive and boot up that free Ubuntu CD (no install and few need a tutorial on its use) to gain access to files you need to copy out on the network or USB memory stick.
Now either you would have found a virus or can reinstall from scratch.
--> One thing I have to ask. Since there are free antivirus out for the past 3 years, why would anyone go without?
