pcg k12p recovery

I have a dead laptop. The recovery disks that i made are damaged and I need to download new disks the only computer I have access to is an old Eee pc with on cd drive . Can I download what I need to a usb memory stick and if so how many gigs would I need the vaio is a PCG K12P with XP Pro
