Intel Matrix RAID Storage problem is killing my computer!

I have an HP Pavilion Media Center m8407c computer. It has two 360 GB hard drives that are in a RAID configuration controlled by the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. Last night the computer lost power and when it restarted I got the following message from the Matrix Storage Manager: "Volume verification and repair in progress. The data in a volume is being verified and repaired." after about 10 seconds of this message it goes into "Logging Off", then it goes into "Shutting Down". Then it restarts and the whole process starts all over again. I've tried all the diagnostic and "safe mode" boots available on this computer but it always does the same thing. I've read that this Intel Matrix Storage Manager is susceptible to power failures but it is supposed to rebuild the volume on it's own and not keep powering down the computer. Since the computer won't stay up for more than 10 seconds it's hard to troubleshoot the problem. Anybody know what's going on?

Thanks
