Thing is I do not know where I can find a case with a screen of atleast 15 inches that will be able to house this. Or what kind of motherboard I will need.
Any thoughts or hints would be appreciated

good luck with that one, I don't know anyone that's built their own laptop from scratch, I have seen people buy the lowest specs on a system and then installed their own parts, but from scratch.... cant help you there man

There was one guy named K-Tron who did it. Or tried to. I don't know what ultimately happened to it, but I do know it was ridiculously expensive (I forgot the exact amount, but several people said they could have paid almost a year's university tuition for what it took to build the then-unfinished monstrosity).
The guy had money to throw around.
Long story short, we never did find out what happened to him and Octitron, since K-Tron skulked off somewhere. Probably never finished.

is there any particular reason why u want to go this route? there's already laptops out there that can be ordered with the specs u want.
if u'r set on going down that road then the only thing i can suggest is maybe start with a clevo shell?

Almost an impossible task... you need a motherboard which fits your needs and a BIOS that supports your hardware.
Getting a Clevo (or similar) with those specs will be much cheaper and more comfortable (and you have warranty).

We have the capability to build our own Desktop Beasts, figured I would atleast see if it was possible to build my own Laptop Monster. It does seem that we are limited in this field.
We'll atleast I tried.
