- Can ASUS replace this (for free or at a cost)?
- If not, are there professional external dealers who can replace this?
- If not, where should I get the part from to replace it? The best I have is , but I do not know the difference between the parts. Is it easy to replace?

Replacing the LCD Bezel
I have had an ASUS N53Jf-XE1 notebook for one month. I recently saw that the LCD bezel was scratched from the material that was between the keyboard and the LCD. I would like to replace the LCD.
Connecting at WiFi spots but Dell error msg
I have no idea what the problem is. Although I am connecting to Internet with no problem at my favorite WiFi cafes, and at home on wireless network no problem, yet Still keep getting an error msg saying Mobile broadband manager not responding.
Any suggestions??
Also no idea what the WiMax error msg stopped popping up since I don't know how it could have been fixed.
Running Win 7 64 bit and did download drivers again.

Poll! Built in defragger vs 3-rd party. Your opinions of using it
People, write here what Defragmentation Software do you prefer. And if 3-rd party is it better than built-in one then why?
I use Piriform Defraggler. It is very simple and you can see HDD's map of files.
Also I used O&O Defrag which can put exact file in the beginning of HDD or other place. I think that they both are better because of advantages I wrote above.

Battery Care Function
I have read through all the posts here and no one seems to have an answer.
I installed a new hard drive in my computer (VGN-SZ650) and then reinstalled a clean copy of Vista. However before I installed the new hard drive I did not change the setting in the battery care function program so my battery is stuck at 80%.
I have tried installing the Utilities and that did not work. I dont care if I have the Battery Care Function program on my computer I just want my battery to charge to 100%.
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks.

Avatar + HT-C5500 = Fail
Yes, I bought Avatar on the first day. No it does not play on my HT-C5500. Yes I have the "Red Screen of Death."
I went to the support page and downloaded the firmware update. Transferred the file to a USB drive, popped it into the player and turned it on. The player recognized the update, re-started, annd nothing happened. It basically froze, though the word "UPDATE" flashed on the LCD screen on the unit. No progress bar appeared on the TV screen. I'm not even sure if that update would address my issue.
I popped Avatar into my PS3 and watched it. I decided not to go the etra step and use the Digital sound output to allow the home theater to work.
What did I do wrong in the update process? Would the firmware on the site resolve my issue? Did I make a mistale buying this new home theater system?

Explorer path keeps getting reset during typing
So, I like to type addresses in the address bar of Windows Explorer.
About a month or so ago, something changed that made that very difficult to do: about every 10 seconds, the path text resets to whatever the current folder is.
As an offshoot, if you happen to start typing into the address bar towards the end of that 10-second rotation, your text gets reset to the current folder. The current folder text is highlighted, and the cursor is at the end - it's the same result you see if you hit ESC while typing an address into the address bar.
This happens both at work (XP Pro in a domain) and at home (XP Pro in a workgroup).
I've done some searching in these forums and via Google, but haven't had any success finding a solution yet... if anyone has any ideas to help alleviate this problem, they'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
- Nathan

Why are most refurbished notebooks ASUS brand?
At first I believed it was because of "drivers" issue, and people now knowing how to fix it. (heck many people dont even know what drivers are)
But when i started looking around at more refurbished laptops, i noticed 80% of them were ASUS, i know dell has a lot, but they are just not avalible through newegg or amazon
So is it really that ASUS quality is horrible? People not knowing how to use them? What is really causing this problem?
I just bought an UL80(refurbished ofcourse, it was only 550 with shipping and tax) , but am starting to grow concern as to why this is happening.
LASTLY, anyone know the difference between UL80J and UL80JT?
I know the the mouse pad is different thats is all. What does J stand for? T?
