Lumix DMC-TZ10

After i have downloaded my photos from my SD card, I notice the videos to which i took on the camera do not appear on on my PC or Mac. Is there a download i need for the videos to play?

I assume you are using some type of software to move the photos from the camera to the computer.

Some software will ignore video files.

I suggest you get a SDHC card reader. (about $10)
Install the card reader on your computer, and when you insert the SD memory card in the card reader the computer will see it as being a disk drive.
Use drag & drop to move the video files to your computer.
