Ethernet Connection vs Wireless

My Linksys router is about 6 years old and thinking about upgrading to the new E4200 model. Would connecting with an ethernet cable for PS3, DirecTV, and Sony Wireless Blu-ray player show significant performance other just using wireless connections?

Ethernet LAN connections run 100 Mb/s. Wireless G runs 54 Mb/s, wireless N ~100 Mb/s. Don't expect to get them.

Since we don't know your connection type, everything will work fine. And, these speeds above are faster than your Internet connection.
