Is this a router problem?

To start off, I have Verizon ISP with a Westell Model 6100G modem connected to a Netgear WGR614 v6 router. The Westell modem is in bridged mode.



The problem I am having is that almost every few days, the internet would stop working and I have to turn off then turn back on both the modem and the router for the internet to work again.



When it stops working, the wireless icon (in Windows 7) has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. If I disconnect from the connection and try to reconnect, I can't. I have to turn both of them off and then turn them on again for me to able to use the internet again.



What could be the problem?
